dezember 2006 — tangoluna viersen.
a room full of dancers who asked with us:

what all can tango be?
which directions? which styles? where are the limits?
we dared to become djs. total beginners. but completely on fire.
that was everything. the music.

and at some point — slowly, unplanned — the music carried us.
into the bodies. into teaching. into the role we never sought.
but that fulfills us more every day. twenty years.

now we pause.
to say thank you, to feel.


life carries us. the community carries us. you carry us.
and so we celebrate, sensually, joyfully,
what has become of that first question.
